Two tubes to knit—one for your head and one for your neck! Add Mabel Cap & Scarf from Jen Hagan Design to your wardrobe for plenty of warmth and style. The scarf is knit in the round so that the cables are beautiful from every angle. The hat is also knit in the round with a rib brim and matching cable top, which decreases in pattern up to its pom-pom. The cable pattern is charted and written out.
Finished Measurements:
Hat – 21” finished circumference
Scarf – 6” wide and 60” long
Yarn Requirements: 660 yards in each of two colors of worsted
weight yarn such as Valley Yarns Amherst (100% Merino Wool; 50g/109yds)
Needles: US 7 (4.50mm) two 16” circular and DPNs
Gauge: 20 sts and 24 rows = 4” in 3 by 2 rib stitch, slightly
stretch and after blocking
