The lace pattern of McGuiness
Branch Socks from Jen Hagan Design is reminiscent of a branch eddying ‘round
stones on its merry way. Jen chose to name these socks after a branch that ran
behind her grandparents’ home in Chambers County, Alabama. The site of many
Easter Egg hunts and summertime play, its memory makes her happy, just like
these socks. Knit them in the round on two circular needles or 5 DPNs with a
classic round heel and grafted toe. The lace patterns are charted and
written out.
