The Basalt Wrap and Scarf from the Fibre Company takes full advantage of all of the wonderful qualities of Road to China Light yarn; its unbelievable softness, supple drape, and gorgeous colorways. The pattern offers instructions for a wrap version (shown) and a scarf version, but after you begin working with this yarn you may find it hard to knit just one.

This pattern is a downloadable PDF.

Comments about Yarn: The Fibre Company Road to China Light (65% baby alpaca, 15% silk, 10% camel, 10% cashmere; 159 yds/50g) Basalt Wrap and Scarf PDF:

I bought this pattern as something my sister and I could both make together. The pattern is easy enough for her as a brand new knitter, but creates something satisfying for me, too.
