This garment features a distinctive boat neckline, a swingy back silhouette, and wide sleeves with gathered cuffs. The design evokes the aesthetic of morning fog lingering by the sea, with light breaking through the mist. Available in six sizes ranging from XS to XXL, the sweater is designed for a comfortable, relaxed fit with chest measurements from 89 cm to 111 cm.

Techniques Used

This pattern employs several advanced knitting techniques to create its seamless construction. The sweater is worked in the round using circular needles, eliminating the need for seaming and creating a continuous fabric. The bottom-up construction method begins at the lower edge of the body and progresses upward, with sleeves worked separately before being joined at the yoke. The stranded colorwork technique is used throughout the design, incorporating multiple colors to create the visual pattern. The pattern requires 4.5 mm (US 7) circular needles in lengths of 40 cm and 80 cm for working the yoke and body, and 3.5 mm double-pointed needles for the initial sleeve cuffs. Stitch holders are needed to set aside underarm stitches during construction.
