Lyrical Knits Beautiful Day
In The Neighborhood is a seamless, circular cowl with an astounding construction. The
accessory is knit mostly flat, first as a mitered triangle that is folded over
onto itself and joined in the round. After several inches of knitting in the
round, you will begin to work flat again, this time working another mitered
triangle from the outside in.
Sizes: One Size
Finished Measurements: 26” circumference and 22” high
Yarn Requirements:
Approximately 350 yards of ace weight yarn such as Shibui Knits Silk Cloud (60% Kid Mohair/40% Silk; 25g/330yds)
Approximately 250 yards of fingering weight yarn such as Malabrigo Mechita (100% Superwash Merino Wool (100% Superwash Merino Wool; 100g/420yds)
Needles: US 5 (3.75mm) 24” circular
Gauge: 18 sts and 28 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch with the lace weight yarn, after blocking
