Manos del Uruguay Snowdrop is a lovely cowl that only requires one hank of
Alegria. This accessory is light and airy, making it perfect for any climate.
Snowdrop’s diagonal lines of eyelet stitches adorn just one side of the cowl for
an asymmetrical, modern twist that is easy and interesting to knit. The cowl is
knit in the round from the bottom up. Manos del Uruguay Alegria is a soft,
springy sock yarn hand-painted in a celebration of bright color. Made of a
blend of superwash merino for easy care and polyamide for durability. The lace
pattern is in written form only.
Finished Measurements: 24” circumference and 11” tall
Yarn Requirements: 1 hank Manos del Uruguay Alegria (75% Superwash Merino Wool/ 25% Polyamide; 100g/445yds) shown in 300X Topez (WEBS do not carry this color)
Needles:
US 5 (3.75mm) 16” circular
US 6 (4.00mm) two 32” circular
Gauge: 21 sts and 31 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch on US 6 (4.00mm), after blocking
