Toast + Jam Shawl from Manos del Uruguay takes the easiest element of knitted fabric—a single column of stitches and scales it up to become the bold, dimensional “braid” down the center of the wrap. The accessory is knit in Maxima from the top down seamlessly. Manos Maxima is a single-ply Merino wool yarn dyed in the spectacular colors Manos is known for. Maxima is hand-dyed in large kettles to create a marbleized, subtly striated effect that forms a rich palette of glorious colors.
