Product Details
Melanie Berg Glückauf is a
knitting pattern for an asymmetrical triangle shawl that is named for that
greeting, which means good luck and inspired by Ruhrgebiet, which is a region
near Melanie’s home. The twisted ribbing pattern that borders Glückauf reminds
Melanie of conveyor belts, while the shawl’s ribbed body and simple smokey
shade of gray are a tribute to the miners of the region. The twisted rib
patterns are charted and written out.
