Gable Mitts PDF
These dainty Gable Mitts from Miriam Felton use a cabled chevron design to accentuate the wrist. Knit them as long as you like for a night at the opera or to keep your arms warm under a dress coat. The matching chevron thumb adds a touch of whimsy. These fingerless mitts begin with a decorative double stranded, double-start cast-on. You cast on for the portion closest to the fingers. Placement of increases and decreases create the peak at the finger opening. Designed for versatility, this piece could be knit with any quantity of yarn (finished size and yardage will vary).
