Like a Cowl from Nelkin Designs is a fun knitted accessory from the bottom up in the round… it starts with a 6-row border that has beads slipped up between stitches at the center front. Next, short rows and strategically placed decreases shape the fabric. Finally, your “like a cowl” is finished off with a simple garter stitch neck and classy I-cord bind off.

Finished Measurements: approximately 20” around at the neck, 11½” deep at the front and 4¼” deep at the back
Yarn Requirements: 150 yards of fingering weight yarn such as Koigu KPPPM (100% Merino Wool; 50g/175yds)
Needles: US 4 (3.50mm) 16”, 20” or 24” circular
Gauge: 20 sts and 40 rnds = 4” in garter stitch, blocked
