Product Details
Transitus from Nelkin Designs is a top-down cloche-style hat with elongated stitches that criss-cross along a purl ridge. You can knit Transitus with more (or less) slouch depending on how much you like in a hat! The cloche shape is achieved with a short row brim before the edging. Transitus looks great with or without a pompom and knits up quickly, making it a great last minute gift!

Yarn Requirements: 110 (135, 150) yards worsted weight yarn, such as Valley Yarns Amherst or Valley Yarns Colrain
Needles: US 6 (4mm) and US 7 (4.5mm) 16” circular needles and US 7 DPNs
Gauge: 17 sts and 24 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch on US 6; 19 sts and 28 rows = 4” in pattern stitch on US 7
