Are you intimidated by the thought of even cutting into your handwoven fabric? What pitfalls do you avoid when attempting to sew that fabric?
Come to this workshop to discover not only how to cut and sew your handwoven fabric, but also how to interface it, make bias piping, insulate and line it while making a basic open bottomed tea cozy on your sewing machine. This makes a great gift, or keep it for your favorite teapot!
Learn about sewing machine needles, threads, machine techniques and using certain pressure feet for specific applications.
For the comfort and safety of our students and teachers, students may be asked to wear a mask during in person classes and workshops, and masks are available upon request.
