*This class fulfills the Stitches: Lace Requirement for WEKP.
Knitted Lace isn't just a pretty arrangement of holes, it's a delicate balancing act of increases and decreases that can intimidate even a skilled knitter. Stitches: Lace will guide you through all the common stitches, shapes, and arrangments of knitted lace, from simple eyelets to complex patterns, so you can knit any lace pattern with ease and confidence. Note: You must have COMPLETED Knitting II
You will receive the Zoom link 1-2 business days before the virtual class.
Format: Virtual
Prerequisite: Knitting
II
Materials Required:
1 skein of Valley Yarns Charlemont color Natural (or any other light, solid color)
US size 3 or 4 (3.25-3.50mm) needles or size needed to get gauge
Your knitting tool kit
NOTE: We strongly recommend
metal, pointy needles for this class. We find that metal needles make the fiber
content of Charlemont easiest to work with and the pointy tips make the lace
stitches easier to manipulate. / Knitting tool kit / Recommended Text: A
