Product Details

The Almanac Series III from The Fibre Co. presents the cuddly Pelagic Cardigan knit in plush Tundra yarn. Blending baby alpaca, Merino wool, and silk, Tundra is a bulky weight yarn with a plush feel that knits up quickly into luxurious garments and accessories. The Pelagic Cardigan is knit flat in one piece from the bottom up with columns of travelling rib providing striking focal points and rich texture to to the finished sweater. The back and fronts split at the underarms to be knit separately before joining at the shoulder with a three-needle bind-off. Neckband extensions continue to meet at the back of the neck, where they are grafted together and seamed to the back neck. For a snuggly layer with a bold, sophisticated style, choose the Pelagic Cardigan! With a versatile stye and extra warmth from Tundra yarn, you will always have the right cardigan on hand for chilly days with this one! Stitch pattern is both charted and written out.
