Product Details

Crocheted edgings are an organic way to give a finished look to knitting and crochet projects. The nature of crochet stitches allows the stitcher to join anywhere on the edge of knitted or crocheted fabric and create a custom border for their project. Even a simple rectangle scarf or blanket is greatly enhanced by the addition of a complementary edging. Edgings help elevate simple improvised projects and can improve the finished product from a published pattern. Students will learn what they need to know to start any edging off right for both knitted and crocheted pieces. They will have the opportunity to sample different styles of edging stitches.

The third of the three class meetings will offer students a chance for consultation on adding an edging to an existing project.

For the comfort and safety of our students and teachers, students may be asked to wear a mask during in person classes and workshops, and masks are available upon request.
