The Kangaroo Dyer's Thoughts On Color*
This class is currently full. Please call Customer Service at 1-800-367-9327 to be put on the wait list.
*This class fulfills the Color Theory Requirement for WEKP.
Standard theories of color, proven over time, are essential in understanding how to color-balance any project. Whether it's knitting, crochet, or weaving, color selection can sometimes be a challenge. Using dyes, watercolor pencils, and charcoal, students will mix color and discover ways to alter how it is perceived. We'll explore color work patterns and gather yarns to discuss how to implement your color choices. At the end of this one-day workshop, you'll be able to identify a color and its relatives, mix colors and make subtle changes, and put colors together pleasingly for any project. There is a materials fee of $10 for this class, payable to the instructor. Required Text: The Color Grid by Gail Callahan
