This densely cabled poncho was designed with the idea that it can be worn instead of a jacket if the weather is slightly cool, or as an additional layer when it turns colder. It’s the perfect accessory for a walk on a cool, autumn day. This poncho is knit flat in one piece using short-rows for shaping. The provisionally cast-on edge is joined to the final row using Kitchener stitch, with the stitches for the ribbed collar picked up around the neckline and worked in the round.
