Lauren Vest from Therese Chynoweth is a lovely classic v-neck vest featuring slipped stitch ribbing and simple lace panels knit in Berroco Ultra Alpaca. The body is worked in the round from the bottom up and then divided to begin the v-neck. Then divided again at the armholes. Short rows are used to shape the shoulders. Berroco Ultra Alpaca is a delightfully soft, reasonably priced alpaca and wool blend that you need to have on your hooks or needles. Or at least in your stash! The lace pattern is charted and written out.
