Polygon from Tin Can Knits is a blanket made up of scrumptious garter stitch hexagons. Each hexagon is worked circularly from the outside inward before they are seamed together, and edging is worked around the perimeter of the blanket.
Finished Measurements: 29½ (35, 40½, 51½) wide and 37½ (47, 56½, 75½)” longYarn Requirements: DK weight yarn such as Valley Yarns Valley Superwash DK (100% Extra Fine Superwash Merino Wool; 50g/137yds)
Hexagons – 700 (1080, 1540, 2700) yards (each hexagon requires 20 yards)
Border – 150 (190, 220, 300) yards
Needles: US 6 (4.00mm) 16” circular & two 60” circulars and DPNs
Gauge: 22 sts and 40 rnds = 4” in garter stitch
