Yarn Requirements: Bulky weight or DK weight held double
beanie : 85 (100, 150, 160, 170) yds bulky weight yarn
slouch: 100 (120, 170, 180, 200) yds bulky weight yarn
(for DK yardage required, double the above number)
to make earflaps, tassels and pompom requires 50 yds more
Needles: US 10 (6mm) needles
Gauge: 16 sts = 4” in stockinette stitch
