Product Details
The instructor swore that she would NEVER teach a two heddle class and would rather stick herself in the eye with a sharp stick. Never say never, because then she found a way to make the threading easier, user friendly and less complicated. Now you too can learn this technique to be able to use thinner yarns to create finer fabrics. Different heddle positions allows for two different float designs.
This intermediate level class threads up a length of fabric that is later cut up into four luncheon or cocktail napkins. You may choose free form color work or structured stripes. You will thread up, weave at your own pace and finish up at home. As the weather gets colder, imagine yourself pool side or on the beach, sipping your favorite beverage, holding these lovely cotton napkins.
Please note: a follow up class using the same cones of yarn will be offered next semester for a Mock Rep Weave Table Runner.
For the comfort and safety of our students and teachers, students may be asked to wear a mask during in person classes and workshops, and masks are available upon request.
