Valley Yarns Designer Series presents Suzanne is a lovely accessory that is large enough for a lap blanket or folded into a double thick shawl knit in Northampton. This accessory combines artistic cables and a simple garter stitch and is worked in the round from the center out. Valley Yarns Northampton is a workhorse yarn that you'll come back to time and time again. We sourced a soft Peruvian wool and dyed it in a beautiful collection of solid colors and heathered shades. The cable patterns are charted and written out.

Yarn Requirements: 8 skeins Valley Yarns Northampton (100% Wool; 100g/247yds) shown in 42 Lake Heather
Needles: US 6 (4.00mm) DPNs and 16”, 24”, 32”, 40” & 60” circular and an additional 40–60” circular to accommodate 196” circumference of blanket OR interchangeable needle kit with additional cables and connectors to create approximately 150” of cable size for final rounds of the blanket.
Gauge:
     15½ sts and 26½ rows = 4” in garter stitch, blocked
     28 sts and 16 rows = 5” wide and 2¾” tall in Even Cable Pattern, blocked
     28 sts and 30 rows = 4’ in k2, p2 ribbing, blocked
