A felted messenger bag knit in the round in stockinette with a slip stitch pattern for the flap. Great around town or around campus.
Finished Size:
Before felting: height-17”, width-17”, depth-5”, strap length-55”
After felting: height-10 1/2”, width-12”, depth-3 3/4”, strap length-38”
Yarn Requirements: Valley Yarns Amherst (100% Merino Wool; 50g/109yds)
7 balls Charcoal (MC)
1 ball Soft Grape (CC)
Needles: US 10.5 (6.5mm) 24" circular needle
Other Materials: tapestry needle, stitch markers, stitch holder
Gauge: Approximately 13 1/3 sts and 18 1/2 rows = 4” in Stockinette knit with one strand throughout. Exact gauge is not important.
