What is Being Made

The Sophistication Scarf is a woven accessory designed by Tammy Bast of The Rogue Weaver. Weave Structure and Techniques

This project uses plain weave combined with a color-and-weave technique to create visual interest and pattern. Equipment Required

Warping and Threading

The warping process involves working with two colors simultaneously. Using a warping peg set at 98", the weaver warps 2 slots of navy followed by 1 slot of silver grey, repeating this pattern across the loom until 45 slots are warped, ending with a single slot of navy. This creates 15 complete repeats plus 1 additional navy slot, totaling 92 ends.
