Valley Yarns 511 Jar, Bottle, or Can Cozy (Free)

This simple, crocheted cozy will help you insulate and carry your favorite beverages, water bottles, soups, or canned goods. The base acts as a built-in coaster while the roomy carrying strap can be clipped to a bag or belt loop. Eyelets under the strap let you see how much of the contents remain. An additional security strap stretches over the top of a jar, but can easily be slid out of the way when necessary.

Finished Size: 6-8” around, 4” tall or desired height
Yarn: 1 skein Valley Yarns Northampton (100% wool, 247 yds / 100g) color Gold Heather (about 50 yds used)
Hook: US size 7 (4.50mm) crochet hook or size needed to get gauge
Additional materials: One 1” or larger button (optional)
