I love the colors and texture of this yarn. I use it all the time for making twill scarves. It is well spun so that it makes a nice strong warp, yet it washes up to produce a beautiful drape that feels wonderful against the skin. My only wish is for more colors in stock.

I use this yarn a LOT. It is a my go to for making my scarves to sell. Silk is too expensive, cotton is too stiff for scarves. So Tencel is that Goldilocks sweet spot of Yarn, shiny and soft, weaves up beautifully, and yet less expensive than silk.

I am a "Fiber Artist". I knit daily! I live in New England and formerly knit products to be worn in order to stay warm. Since we now have accessible heat and Air Conditioning, I now make items to be worn as an accessory. I love 8/2 Tencel-shiny, bright, endless choices, etc. It is comfortable to wear and is economic to purchase vs wool, cotton, etc. Love knitting with it and love wearing it!!! This is my go-to yarn for scarves and shawls. I call it the 'poor woman's silk' because the woven garment is so silky and soft, and yet the price does not break the bank. It comes in many colors. Just be careful not to sett it too openly, as it will slide around and feel 'sleezy'. It can pull out if you do not weave it in firmly. It can make a wonderful firm fabric if you handle it correctly.

Beautiful colors & quality

I love the many colors available in Tencel and this purchase did not disappoint. The quality of the yarn is also what I had hoped. My only thought on this purchase is the quantity. I wish it was possible to purchase a smaller cone as this is now enough for my lifetime & this is not a color I will use often but one requested for a particular project.

There seems to be a problem keeping 8/2 tencel in stock. When it became available I was shorted a significant amount on two occasions. I paid for 1 pound cones and got less. Apparently the new owners don’t care to weigh the cones they send out, then on both occasions it took days to get a refund AND I had to PROVE that the cones were short by send pictures of the cones on a scale. That was insulting. I have been a Webs customer for decades but I am not inclined to continue with that...

I use this yarn often. It is lustrous, strong and takes dyes well. Lovely addition to my weaving yarns. Looks fabulous with silk yarns or all on its own.

I've been using this yarn to crochet a 'Filet' crochet curtain for the living room windows. We live in a 1912 Craftsmen and the project fits the time/place of the design of our home.

I love the finish and feel and colors of the tencel. My only negative is that when using it in warp, I tend to get a lot of broken threads while working, particularly at the selvedges. I am going to do some research and see if perhaps I could do something differently to prevent this. I’ve already tried doubling the ends, but that hasn’t worked yet. The colors are bright and steadfast and the quality of the thread is consistent brought the cone.
