I use Webs Valley tencel quite a bit in my weaving studio and love the color range, quality of the yarn and consistent even dyeing.

My only criticism is i wish it also came in 10/2 !

I have one or more of every color available and very much enjoy the new colours recently added to the line up

The yarn itself is fine, no problems. But beware if a color is backordered! I was initially told that it would be between two and three weeks for my backorder to arrive. After not receiving it, I contacted them again and was told no, it could be another one to two months for it to show up as the yarn is manufactured for them by a mill outside of the country. Hugely disappointing as I ordered many different colors for several projects and now I am waiting for the backorder in order to complete these projects.

      Used for weaving.
Used many times before and occasionally you will get a bad cone with lots of slubs. Usually great stuff, very soft

I used this yarn as a weft fibre for a cowl that I wove. The garment is deliciously soft and has such a beautiful drape.

Comments about Yarn > Weaving Yarn 8/2 Tencel:

I buy lots of Tencel for hand woven articles. I would prefer that it was 10/2, but the 8/2 is not bad. Would love colored 20/2 for scarves---the 8/2 can be a little heavy. It great for vests and jackets.

As a new weaver I appreciated how easy it was to wind the tencel warp, and dress the loom. I had no broken warp threads or problems weaving with this.

I use the 8/2 Tencel for weaving a scarf, sett 20 epi, Spot Bronson. Fabulous! I put it in a net bag, machine washed in warm, put it in a drier until damp and then hard pressed it. The sheen and drape is wonderful! The color is beautiful
