Valley Yarns Designer Series presents Sylvette, a stunning shawl that is knit sideways with delicate cables and a plush garter stitch interior using Westfield. The wrap is worked sideways with cast one and bind-off on narrow ends. Increases, main body, and border are all worked at the same time. The cable stitches on the bottom border are worked right on the edge of the piece, creating a scrolled decorative edge. Valley Yarns Westfield is a luxurious blend of Merino, silk, and yak in a versatile DK weight. The cable patterns are charted and written out.
