Nice bulky yarn and a lovely red color
At first at was disappointed because I thought the yarn I bought was wool. It was a wool acrylic blend. It knitted up beautifully and I was very happy with the result.

I am working on a large blanket with a cable / lace pattern. This yarn is very easy to work with, slides on the needles even in humid weather and makes a nice pattern. The blanket is coming in very soft and ""plushy"" I tend to knit a lot of hats and I will certainly use this yarn for them later this year.
I am knitting a blanket for my 5 year old nephew's twin bed. It is striped and Haydenville Bulky had great colors to choose from. Love the stitch definition. I am using red, yellow, a blue and a green. Looks great.
I used this yarn for Knitty pattern Megadahlia Lap Rug (Franklin Habit) and it turned out beautifully. I ordered 7 skeins and used 6, and I joined the yarn using a Russian join, to avoid knots. I am very pleased with the results and would absolutely make another one. This is going to be a baby blanket for a beloved niece, but I think she will love and use it for years.
