Product Details
The Acorn Stitch Kimono from Vermont Fiber Designs is not as daunting as it may appear at first glance. The stunning stitch pattern is an easy one to memorize as it is basically a modified checkerboard pattern. The body of the sweater is worked from the bottom up in one piece with a three-needle bind-off joining the shoulders. Sleeves are worked in the round from the bottom up and set in during finishing. You can choose to make the I-Cord belt, or simply close the cardigan with a shawl stick. Instructions are included for both 3/4-length sleeves and long sleeves. Stitch pattern is both charted and written out.
