VERSACIKNITS Herring is a knitting pattern for a gorgeous shawl that’s worked from side to side, beginning with an increasing ribbed border that is then split in two with the insertion of the stitch pattern in the center. The shawl between the borders continues to grow to its total width, is worked even, and then decreases back until it’s eliminated. The ribbed border continues to decrease down to its original stitch out. The lace pattern is in written form only.
