From the inimitable Elizabeth Zimmermann, A Very Warm Hat uses two (or more) shades of a medium weight yarn to make an extremely warm, reversible hat. It's a quick and satisfying project, and a good way to practice colorwork. Tuck one end into the other and the hat becomes double-thick and reversible. Students will learn stranded colorwork, reading colorwork charts, picking up stitches, and perfect their circular knitting skills.
