Piper Hat by Yankee Knitter Designs is the companion to the Piper Mittens. This is a simple cable hat knit using worsted weight or bulky weight yarn. The instructions are easy to follow and are sized from Baby to Adult L. Piper Hat is knit in the round from the bottom up and finished with a pom-pom. So do some stash busting and knit a hat for the entire family! The cable pattern is in written form only.

Finished Measurements: Approximately 14 (16, 18, 20, 22)” circumference
Yarn Requirements:
     Worsted Weight Yarn – 150 (175, 200, 225, 250) yards such as Brown Sheep Lamb’s Pride Worsted (85% Wool/ 15% Mohair; 4oz/190yds) AND 30 yards for pom-pom
     Bulky Weight Yarn – 70 (85, 100, 115, 130) yards such as Brown Sheep Lamb’s Pride Bulky (85% Wool/ 15% Mohair; 100g/125yds) AND 30 yards for pom-pom
Needles:
     Worsted Weight Yarn – US 5 (3.75mm) and US 7 (4.50mm) DPNs or 16” circular
     Bulky Weight Yarn – US 9 (5.50mm) and US 10½ (6.50mm) DPNs or 16” circular
Gauge:
     Worsted Weight Yarn – 20sts = 4” in stockinette stitch
Bulky Weight Yarn – 12 sts = 4” in stockinette stitch
