This lecture-style class will explore the wide world of yarn, and will cover how yarns are made and structured, the different fibers used and their unique properties, and how these factors combine to influence your finished fabrics. Learn how to choose the perfect yarn for all your projects and how to care for them for years of enjoyment.

Materials Required:
Note-taking materials (pen or
pencil and notebook). Recommended Texts: The Knitters' Book of Yarn by Clara
Parkes, or Yarn Substitution Made Easy by Carol Sulcoski

Cancellation
Policy: For all classes, payment of full tuition is due at time of
registration. Tuition will be refunded only if the class is cancelled by WEBS,
or if there is a waiting list and your spot can be filled.
