Ysolda's Trinket is perfect for the tiny techies on your gift list. This little robot has all of the most important features: wheels for speeding around on adventures, dials and gauges, an antenna for communicating important messages (or chewing on), long arms for reaching everything and a pocket for carrying your most treasured toys and trinkets. The body, head and antenna are worked in the round in one piece and stitches for the arms and wheels are picked up from the stuffed body.
This pattern is a downloadable PDF.
Size: Approx 10" tall, not including antenna.
Yarn: Chunky / heavy aran weight yarn in 2 colors: approx 150yds of each color. Shown in Quince & Co. Osprey (100% wool, 170yds / / 100g) in MC - Bird’s Egg and CC - Carrie’s Yellow.
Needles: US 7 16" circular and dpns or long circular(s)
Gauge: 17 sts and 26 rnds = 4" in st st in the rnd. Because the finished size isn’t important, different yarn weights can be used. Use a needle 2-3 sizes smaller than the suggested needle for that yarn to obtain a tight gauge that won’t allow stuffing to show through.
