Easy to work with
One of the best basic wool yarns available, great price, soft, works up quick at this gauge, and easy to find in large dye lots that match perfectly. I recommend Cascade 220 to everyone.

It's an excellent all purpose yarn that I have used for years. It has a nice hand, fabulous colors and wears extremely well.
While it's rated as a 4 (worsted) it usually feels too light to me. I use it anyway!
Lovely to work with, but my garment began pilling terribly with the first wearing. It continues to pill regardless how I launder it. My gauge swatch did not pill, but I didn’t wear it around to understand the pill potential. I gave away all my 220 superwash because of this. Too bad.
I have knit using many worsted yarns. This is the best!
great yarn for mufflers. Easy to knit and washable, no joins, few split stitches.
