How To Make the Sweater You REALLY Want

It's a sad fact of life that often the patterns we're drawn to as knitters are not the patterns that work well on our bodies. We might love to knit cables or do colorwork, so that when we see those elements on a pattern photo, we automatically think "I want to make that for ME!" without really thinking through whether that sweater will flatter our frame. This class will change all that, by exploring how ease, measurements, and gauge work together. With that understanding and a close look at what you actually like to wear, you'll be able to focus on patterns for garments that you'll not only like to knit, but ones that will fit the way you want them to. Let your patterns work for you--don't bend over backwards (in an ill-fitting garment!) to make your body fit a pattern. Required Text: The Ultimate Sweater Book by Amy Herzog (15% discount)
