I love all the yarn I have received! Quality skeins and great colors too! Fast delivery from Massachusetts to my home in Maine. Keep up the great work!
The alpaca is very soft. I washed the skein before knitting to see what would happen. It developed a little halo. It's quite thin and I swatched a few lace stitches and ended up liking it best on size #000. When I knit lace, I like the stockinette areas to look normal, not loose, and the holes to be distinct but not sloppy. This would make a lovely lace fabric.
Beauti lace yarn, not easy to wind however. It was very tangled and difficult to get on the swift. Once it was finally wound, it was a wonder to work with! Very silky and smooth and makes a lovely lace!
I used this with Malabrigo Rios, it made such a lovely shawl. So soft and luxurious. A lovely lace yarn with a beautiful feel once knit! Soft, easy to knit, lovely results!
Very soft and strong. Using it as a carryi along with a cotton/wool blend. This yarn plus a light ********* for a lightweight cardigan, the Anker’s cardigan.
Plymouth worsted superwash wool acrylic blend: Good stitch definition and easy to work with in the hand. I don’t yet have feedback from the recipient in how it holds up to washes.
