Valley Yarns WEBS DIR01 I Feel Vine by Fiona Ellis
We're so excited to share I Feel Vine by Fiona Ellis - the first pattern in our Designer in Residence series! I Feel Vine is a long-line cardigan that's worked in Valley Yarns Amherst. It's perfect for all seasons - cozy for the chilly months but also great to slip on over a sleeveless top in warmer months to fend off the chill of air conditioning. Its clever use of stitch patterning utilizes the elasticity of ribbing at the waist and cuff to give gentle shaping. The rib then morphs into a unique leaf pattern and finally into eyelet lace stitch-work which adds to the overall femininity of this cardigan.

I am almost finished with my version in the Sweet Pea color. The design is challenging to work, but satisfying. The instructions are not clear whether the neck border is seed stitch or garter stitch.
