I am making a colorwork sweater for my granddaughter with this yarn. It's soft and easy to work with. I love the heathered tones and the colors work beautifully together.
I am using this to knit a twin set for myself and it is just lovely. Easy to work with and with a great texture.
Making a sweater. The yarn is a bit itchy, stiff and has a lot of lanolin in it. It does knit up nicely.
This is the most skin-friendly merino yarn I've ever used. My skin is very sensitive and I expect it won't bother me a bit, even around my neck.
It's a very pretty yarn and easy to work with. While it was not particularly scratchy, I had also ordered another Merino to go in this project (a warm hat) and decided to use the other one for the part of the hat that comes in contact with the wearer's forehead, because it was softer. The other yarn was called Arroyo. If I hadn't had the other Merino side by side to compare it to, I wouldn't have thought this yarn was ""not soft,"" but I've definitely had the experience of making a scarf and then finding it was too itchy to wear, even when I hadn't noticed the yarn being itchy while making it. So I decided to play it safe and use the softer yarn for the brim, especially since this was for a gift.
LOVE this yarn. I've used it twice now, and I'm impressed with the quality, the color, and the fabric I get. I have bought this more than once—now for a third project—and will likely buy again. Love that it's organic, love that it's wool, love that Webs always really ""delivers!""
Knitting the Hiraeth shawl by Claire Walls in this yarn and it's fantastic! I picked the Juniper green color. It's very soft and wonderful to knit with. I e already bought a sweaters quantity for my next project.
This yarn was a delight to work with. I made a hat with it and it washed up lovely and soft. I thoroughly recommend it.
I wove a gorgeous blanket with this yarn on my rigid heddle loom. It is not a weaving yarn, so I had to be gentle with the tension, but it did weave up beautifully. After wet finishing, it was wonderfully soft and cozy.
This is my go to sweater yarn! Knits up wonderfully and is soft on the skin
