Rowan Felted Tweed is such a beautiful, tweedy yarn! I’m making a striped sweater using 9 of the colors, and they all coordinate beautifully, because the nups are the same colors across all color ways (black, white, and blue). It is lovely and supple to work with, although it does ‘shed’ quite a bit more than other merino blend yarns, maybe due to the felting process. It is also quite thin for being labelled DK. It is almost more of a sport weight. I’m thrilled with my purchase, and now I want to find more uses for this beautiful yarn!

This knits up wonderfully into my sweater. Its warm and soft and not at all skratchy

Wonderful yarn.
I thought this yarn would be DK. However, I find it skinny. I have gone down two needle sizes (am now at US4) and my knitted fabric is still someone open. I guess I think it's not right for my Guernsey Wrap. I'll finish it, but will wish I had used a different yarn. Am hoping that soaking it and blocking after completion might cause the yarn to bloom a little. the colors are beautiful, but I should have bought it in person rather than online.

I like this tweed yarn. The colors are lovely and it is nice to work with. I am using it for a large blanket and a sweater. My only advice: If I were making something like a throw or a scarf - something that was going to be next to my skin - I would opt for a softer yarn.
