Valley Yarns Valley Cotton 3/2 is a staple for weavers! The Valley Yarns line of mercerized perle cottons in 3/2, 5/2, and 10/2 is put up on standard one pound cones for weavers and machine knitters. The Valley Cotton line features 50+ sumptuous colors dyed for color fastness, but of course, be sure to test your sample the way you want to finish your fabric. 3/2 cotton is a great choice for woven blankets, towels, placemats, and more! Spun and dyed exclusively for WEBS.

This is a go to yarn for weaving placemats and cocktail carpets!
I found very uneven tension results from winding the warp when I went to wind it on the beam, some lagged by several inches, especially the cobalt blue and also the light blue. Never happened with 3/2 or 8/2 cotton. Seems like there was quite a bit of "stretch" in the yarn, especially the colored ones. Will never use it again.
