Lovely but way too fragile

By Peggy

from Dallas

i made a simple lace scarf with this and the finished product was pretty and the colors lovely, but knitting with it was a pain. The yarn is far too fragile -- especially if there is a chance you might have to frog even the least little bit to correct an error. I had to make 4 felt joins in one skein when the yarn unexpectedly broke on me because it got tugged on for several different reasons. And these tugs were nothing out of the ordinary and the same kind of tugs I would give any kind of yarn and expect it to hold up! I've never worked with a yarn this flimsy before and hope I don't have too again.
