Comments about Valley Yarns Sheffield:
I have not yet finished a project with this yarn but I certainly love just having it around to love on and pet. The colors are rich. I have started with it a couple of times and have ripped out but only due to the pattern and not the yarn. The yarn feels so good I don't mind spending extra time with it. After the innitial feel I experienced I knew staight way that i wanted to go ahead and order more so I did. Now I want to make sure I use it on a very useful project so such a great feel and look will not go to waste.

Comments about Valley Yarns Sheffield:
I chose Valley Sheffield because if its angora content. I wanted a soft yarn with some halo. Sheffield is very soft, but not limp, and does indeed have a lovely halo. It's wonderful against the skin -- a great choice for cowls or scarves. I'll make several projects with Sheffield.

Comments about Valley Yarns Sheffield:
I love this yarn, it's super soft and really nice to knit with, but there's been a knot or two in every skein of yarn - and I'm knitting a sweater, so that's 5 skeins so far that I've had to pull apart and re-join. I hate coming across them and the skein that had two knots in it, I opted not to use (yet) - if I have a small section or am desperate at the end, I might, but I like to have as few joins as possible....I still have to give it high stars, it's wonderful...but it runs short of 5 because of the knots.

Comments about Valley Yarns Sheffield:
Beautiful blending of fibers. The silk adds an elegant sheen and softness while giving the yarn extra strength. Luxurious and high quality product at a most affordable price. I have seen comparable qualities at many times the cost of this gem. Thanks again, WEBS, for this fine offering.

Comments about Valley Yarns Sheffield:
This yarn is surprisingly soft and springy with just enough silk and angora to make the overall feel of the knitted product akin to an alpaca. As a worsted weight, it is slightly thinner than what the average manufacturer makes in worsted but I like it for that quality as it makes a nice wearable-weight, textured stitch sweater. The only slight con is the natural property of angora to have a halo, which is short and pleasing in this yarn, but it might pick up a (shortish)static. I knew the blend content when I bought this, so I don't count that as a con. The silk adds strength. I love this yarn and expect to buy much more.

Comments about Valley Yarns Sheffield:
I bought this to make a Christmas gift cowl out of, I cannot get over how wonderfully SOFT this yarn is, it really does feel like much more expensive yarn! It has a great ability to minimally show my errors, while drawing the eye to the desired stitch detailing. I'm planning to buy much more of this, but next time for myself! It is going to be hard to let go of this cowl come Christmas time but I know the recipient will LOVE it.
