    Comments about "" Alpaca Prima:

I like this yarn because it not only knits beautifully, but as an alternative to DK and fingering, something in between that expresses well the stitch definition and/or lace work, without been too small, gives the body a bit mpre weight, thickness and drape Great for color works too.

      Comments about "" Alpaca Prima:

I have made (so far!) three sweaters and a blanket with this alpaca. The sweaters I made at worsted weight by knitting one strand of this alpaca with a strand of wool. Super warm and soft. Two contrasting colors made a pretty marled effect, but two colors the same were gorgeous as well. I also made a huge blanket with two (contrasting) strands knitted together on a size 6 needle. Great yarn, great price, so versatile.

Knitted in a fine gauge it feels like cashmere.
Made Turkish Bed Socks and a hat. Knits evenly.
Care is necessary to avoid splitting the yarn.
