Valley Yarns #84 Anniversary Placemats PDF
The Valley Yarns Anniversary Placemats have an Atwater/Bronson lace structure that also uses a turned draft, allowing for weft floats and warp floats on the same surface of the pattern. Additionally, using two closely related colors, one for warp and one for weft, adds emphasis and life to the pattern.
A note from Designer Barbara Elkins: "...these are a re-do of a set of placemats I wove for Steve and Kathy when they were first married. Many, many uses and washings later, they probably became dust rags! A new set of dishes called for a new set of placemats!"
