Continental is a classic, uncluttered sweater in the style of the early 60s worked from the top down. Knit using Classic Elite Fresco, the horizontal stripes are knit as the sweater is being worked, then the vertical stripes are added using a crochet slip stitch technique or duplicate stitch.
