This yarn is a nice mix of cotton and acrylic. It's easy to work with and is pretty reasonably priced. I would buy this brand again.

Nice, but...

Comments about 6.50 Avalon Multis:

I really wanted to write a review of this yarn because other reviews have really helped me. This is a nice cotton/acrylic yarn that knits up nicely. I have one important note. Color is extremely important to me and I would imagine most of us. The colors depicted in the boxes for this yarn are, in a couple of cases, way off. The marigold looks pale green and pale pink to me and when it came it was bright green, bright yellow and orange. Now, that is the color of marigolds but I was really surprised when I received. This rarely happens on Webs so I thought you should know.
